THE SALVATION ARMY MOST GOOD 5K
Hundreds of runners and walkers will participate in The Salvation Army’s Most Good 5K run to raise money for the organization’s programs to serve the needy. People of all fitness levels will be watching, running, and walking in a 5K race that starts in beautiful Klyde Warren Park, winds through sections of Uptown Dallas, and finishes back at Klyde Warren Park. A live DJ will be on-site to get the race started and welcome everyone back from the race to the post-race party.
The Salvation Army serves Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, Denton and Ellis Counties with over 70 programs and services.
Last year, The Salvation Army provided shelter for 7,932 homeless men, women and children, and served 1,076,280 meals at its centers in the Dallas - Fort Worth Metroplex. The organization also provided 36,175 bags of groceries to help struggling individuals and families, and substance abuse rehabilitation for 4,966 individuals.
