FOX 4 Sports Director, Mike Doocy, to serve as Emcee
DENTON, Texas (March 29, 2017) – The Salvation Army of Denton will hold its 2017 annual luncheon, at the University of North Texas Apogee Stadium on Tuesday, April 18 from noon to 1:30 p.m.
Former UNT standout linebacker, Zach Orr, will serve as keynote speaker. Orr, a native of Virginia, was signed by the Baltimore Ravens in 2014 after a successful career with the Mean Green, where he received numerous honors. Orr played only a few games in his first two seasons with the Ravens. He was named second-team All-Pro after the 2016 season. Orr announced his retirement from the NFL on January 20, 2017, after being diagnosed with a congenital neck/spine condition that brought his season and career to an abrupt end.
