Need Knows No Season
Lack of adequate income prevents many families from providing Christmas gifts for their children and from putting a nutritious meal on the table on Christmas Day. While it may not be readily apparent, this heartbreaking scenario is played out in the lives of tens of thousands of low-income families in Dallas, Collin, Denton, Ellis and Tarrant Counties.
To help make the holidays brighter for the less-fortunate, each Christmas season The Salvation Army distributes more than 219,000 Christmas gifts to needy families.
The Salvation Army's Christmas Assistance program depends on generous gifts and contributions from caring and concerned individuals who want to help their fellow citizens.
