 Week-in-and-week-out, all year long, The Salvation Army distributes food to individuals and families in need.
At our area food pantries, we distribute bags of groceries each weekday. Last year we filled nearly 17,000 grocery orders.
When supplies of food run low, the only alternative
is to purchase more food to re-stock the pantry shelves.
Companies, churches, schools, civic clubs and other groups can provide an alternative by conducting food drives for The Salvation Army throughout the year. This allows us to use the money we save in other ways.
