The Salvation Army’s community center in McKinney is located east of Central Expressway (US 75) and less than a mile from the Town Lake Recreation Center. Here, the Salvation Army provides Christian worship services and a food pantry.
Worship Programs
Classes for children, youth and adults on Sundays at 10:00am.  Family Worship at 11:00am.
Christmas Assistance (Angel Tree Program)
Application interviews are conducted the last Monday of September through the first Friday of November Monday-Thursday from 1:00-5:00pm
Emergency Financial Assistance
Rent and utilities assistance for qualifying emergencies and clients, as funds are available.  Call 972-542-6694 for more information.
Food Assistance Programs
Perishable Food Distribution on Mondays and Wednesdays at 10:00am.  Non-Perishable Food Distribution on Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:30-11:30am.
Cooling and Hydration Station
During hot summer days, McKinney offers a place to cool off and re-hydrate.

Senior Adult Recreation
Opportunities to learn and grow make life richer at any age. The adult recreation provides a wide range of ways for people 55 and over to find enjoyment and practice a healthy lifestyle. Our program, meet seniors’ spiritual, physical, social, and emotional needs. Recreation plus senior adults equals a great stability in our community and for the future. The group meets weekly.  Pickleball happens every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10:00am to 3:00pm
