What You Need to Know


Get Ready...Set...Enjoy the exciting new 5K where runners and walkers will enjoy competing near sunset while feasting their eyes on Downtown Dallas’ electric panoramic skyline.


Saturday, May 3 at 7 p.m. in Trinity Groves (registration from 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m.)


Luke’s Locker (3046 Mockingbird Lane Dallas, TX) 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 1 and Friday, May 2. Participants who have paid or pledged in-full online are encouraged to pick up bibs in advance.


Please allow 10 minutes, minimum, to walk from parking to registration.


Open from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Warm-up and race briefing at 6:30 p.m. Race
starts at 7 p.m.
All 5K participants receive an event T-shirt. Fundraise or donate a total of $125 and your shirt is upgraded to an event tech T-shirt.  Any individual who signs up as a team captain and registers at least 10 participants will have his/her entry fee waived.
Friends & Family Fundraising and corporate matching are a great way to raise all or
part of your registration fee. Exceed the fee, and you’ll be helping The Salvation Army provide critical services to more people in our community who desperately need help.  


Racers must wear their assigned bib on the front of their bodies so they are visible while you’re participating on the race course.Emergency contact information should be filled in completely prior to beginning the race.


Olympic-style medals and exciting prize packages will be awarded to the following:
  • Top 5K Prize: (1) Highest Earning Fundraiser
  • Top Achievement Prize: 
       (1) First across the finish line – Male 
       (1) First across the finish line - Female
  • No bicycles, roller skates, rollerblades, skateboards, baby joggers, or animals are allowed in The Most Good 5K Race or on the race course at any time. NO EXCEPTIONS. 
  • Road closure signs will indicate which portion of the route is closed or restricted. Vehicular traffic will be minimized throughout the route, but it’s imperative for safety reasons that all participants stay within the cones that mark the official course area. Any deviations from the marked course may result in disqualification.
  • Please do NOT use cell phones on the 5K course as these can be hazardous to you and other runners/walkers. If MP3 players are used, only use head phones or ear buds in one ear for safety reasons. 


  • Prior to beginning the 5K, please ensure the emergency contact information is complete on your bib
  • Corral Loading on Herbert St (see course map for details) – load from back of corral
  • The Finish Line is at Trinity Groves
  • As you cross the finish line - DO NOT STOP. Continue walking into Festival area so others can cross the finish line.
  • Water stop locations and suggested spectator viewing areas are clearly indicated on the course map on the website
  •  Medical and event staff will be on hand at the event
  • There is ONE water stop on the 5K course

In Case of Emergency

  • If you see a runner emergency on the course, dial 911 from any available phone
  • Non-emergency runner assistance can also be obtained at the water station

Volunteers are needed to ensure the success of the Most Good 5K and Obstacle Race - from set-up to registration and parking to water stations. We Need You!
