Shoulder To Shoulder With The Army

Partners are those corporate, church, civic and community groups who support The Salvation Army in the DFW Metroplex. They are allies with the Army in its fight against poverty, hunger, homelessness and addiction, and in its efforts to rescue those who are victims of disaster.

These "special forces" send in reinforcements in terms of volunteers who stand shoulder to shoulder with Army personnel. They also provide supplies needed on various fronts through in-kind donations; or they contribute monetary resources to buy necessary materials in the appropriate quantities.

Corporations, churches and community groups may also be a part of a special list of organizations who wish to be contacted about ways to help in times of emergency, crisis or unforeseen community need.

Your company, church, or community group may become a Partner with The Salvation Army by providing resources and/or assistance to the organization in one of the following ways:

How to Become A Partner

  • Make a Monetary Contribution
  • Donate In-Kind Goods
  • Provide Volunteer Service
  • Organize a Drive (for food or new clothes within your organization)
  • Provide Support During a Disaster
