Please Help: The Red Kettle Crisis May Mean Budget Cuts and Reduced Services
Every year, the money you put in The Salvation Army Red Kettles helps us feed, shelter, and clothe needy families in our community all year long.
But the recent ice storm and the shortened Holiday season has produced a critical shortfall. We need your help more than ever. The Salvation Army needs to make-up and raise nearly $600,000 to serve needy children, families, and individuals.
It takes about $135,000 a day to operate and provide critical, and at times, life-saving services to the most vulnerable in the DFW Metroplex. When you give to The Salvation Army, you aren't just giving money. You're giving a hungry child a warm meal. You're giving a homeless family a place to stay. You're giving a troubled teenager an opportunity to turn things around.
